ĭid you do a factory reset already? i asume you changed some settings via control center? The funny thing is that I have a Keystep and it works flawlessy with the iPad. I'll have a little more time to play around with it tonight and will report back on the configurations I try. I have used the MIDI out to trigger a sampler (1010 BitBox) and it worked fine for that. So far, I have only tried USB to the iPad, both direct and through the Novation Audiohub (in both cases, using the Y-thingy). No I haven't, although I have one of those and will try it tonight. I've connected the BSP directly to the iPAD using a powered CCK (also using the y-cable power cable into the BSP) and through a Novation Audiohub (also powered throug h the Y-cable). Not sure what you mean - USB to MIDI converter between what - the iPad and the BSP? I have not tried that. If memory serves me well there were some issues with the way Arturia hardware communicates with different midi said: did you already try to use a usb to midi converter cable? If anyone has any suggestions, I'd love some help - I really don't want to have to return it, but if I can't resolve, it, it's going back.

If the BSP is on when I start up apps, they get hung up and either crash or get stuck on the startup screen (so far, this has happened with Moog Minimoog, AUM, FM Player, Gadget, Module, and Noise). I think I got it to work a couple of times if I sequenced starting things up in a particular way, but haven't been able to reproduce it. I've done hard resets of the iPad, started the BSP in low power mode (powered by USB hub and the ground-loop Y cable). Basically, none of my apps will start up or operate when the BSP is plugged in. But last night, I plugged it into my iPad and it was a disaster - I have no idea what's going on (I've posted on the Arturia forum), but it's behaving very badly. Sounds like a winner to me.I just got one and have been sequencing stuff over MID and works great. What if you want to step sequence Jupiter 8V on MIDI ch 1 while controlling the MMC transports in Logic and playing the drum sounds from BFD on MIDI ch 10 both via USB? You can do that as well.

Maybe playing the drum sounds on a vintage Roland drum module via the MIDI output and sequencing a SH-101 using the CV/GATE in SEQ mode is more your style. You could be using the CV/gate output from the step sequencer playing your MiniBrute and then switch to CONTROL mode and have it controlling clips on Ableton Live and using the encoders to manipulate your VST version of SEM V. MIDI out to a synth or to MIDI to CV convertor (for modular gear) and then dedicated CV/Gate outs to more analogue gear.

You could have both DC bus power, MIDI in and out coming straight off a laptop.
